While all three professionals may work to improve the look and functionality of a space, they have different areas of expertise and focus.

An Interior Designer is focused on creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. They work with their clients to design the layout, choose furniture, colours, and decorations that will make a space look amazing.

A Cleaning Service is focused on making a space clean and tidy. They’ll come in and vacuum, dust, and scrub until everything is spick and span.

A Professional Organizer, on the other hand, is all about decluttering and organizing. They help their clients sort through their possessions and figure out what to keep, what to donate, and what to toss. Then they help organize the remaining items in a way that makes sense and is easy to maintain.

So, if you need a beautiful new space designed, call an Interior Designer. If you need your space deep cleaned, call a Cleaning Service. But if you want to finally get your clutter under control and have an organized life, call a Professional Organizer.

Well, I have to say, my home isn’t exactly a perfectly organized oasis. But I’ve found that having a system that works for me is much more important than striving for perfection.

For me, that means making sure everything has its place, so I can easily find what I need and put it away when I’m done. And let me tell you, it’s a lot easier to keep my stress levels low when I’m not tripping over clutter all the time!

Of course, life is full of surprises, so my system isn’t set in stone. I’m always tweaking things here and there to accommodate changes in my lifestyle or physical space. But as long as I know where everything should go, it’s easy to get back on track.

Well, it really depends on a few things.

First off, the size and scope of the job will obviously play a role. And then there’s the matter of how long it takes you to make decisions about what to keep and what to toss. And of course, your own motivation and focus will also come into play.

But here’s the thing – clutter doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s not going to disappear overnight either. But with the help of a Professional Organizer, you’ll start to see changes right from the very first session! And let me tell you, seeing progress can be a huge motivator to keep up the pace and keep pushing forward.

So, while I can’t give you an exact timeframe, I can promise that we’ll work at a pace that’s comfortable for you and that we’ll keep making progress every step of the way.

During our organizing session, I’ll be taking some pictures of your space to help me figure out the best layout for you. They’re just visual reminders of what your space looks like right now and will help me get a better sense of what we’re working with.

And don’t worry – I totally respect your privacy and confidentiality. I always adhere to ethical standards and won’t use any pictures or videos of your space without your signed permission. But if you’re feeling particularly proud of your newly organized digs and want to show them off, I may use some before and after shots on the website or social media to help inspire others!

But, as always, the decision is totally up to you – no pressure!

Oh, no way, my friend! I’m not here to play the ruthless organizer and make you toss out everything you hold dear. As your trusty professional organizer, my goal is to help you identify what truly matters to you and then clear the path for a smooth and easy daily life.

I’m all about creating a space that not only looks great but also functions well and is easy to maintain. And, of course, I am also committed to doing my part for the planet by reducing, reusing, and recycling as much as possible.

So, during our organizing sessions, I’ll be all about finding ways to reduce paper and clutter before it even enters your home. And if we come across something that no longer serves a purpose, we’ll see if we can repurpose or reuse it before we even think about tossing it in the trash.

Trust me, by the time we’re done, you’ll have a space that you love and feel proud to show off – and you’ll be doing your part for the environment, too!

No, not necessarily. Initially, I’ll need you to be there so we can get a good sense of what’s working and what’s not in your space. Together, we’ll come up with a plan that fits your needs and lifestyle.

But once we’ve got that plan in place, there may be some tasks you can delegate to me – like tackling that mountain of paperwork. And the best part? You don’t even have to be there for it! We can talk about which tasks you’re comfortable with delegating during our consultation.

So I know it’s tempting to run out and buy all the cute containers you can find, but hold on just a sec!

As your friendly neighbourhood Professional Organizer, I’ll be able to determine exactly what kind of containers is needed once we’ve gone through and sorted all of your stuff. And the best part? I can often work with what you already have on hand, so you don’t have to spend a bunch of money on containers that you might not even need!

So, let’s put the brakes on the container shopping for now and focus on purging and editing your items first. Trust me, I’ll have a much better idea of what we need once we’ve gone through everything.

When it comes to food storage containers and casserole dishes, stacking them in teetering towers just won't cut it. That's where shelf organizers come to the rescue! By utilizing the height of the cabinet, an expandable shelf organizer doubles the space and keeps everything safely in place.๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ Additionally, a handy bin for smaller containers and lids helps maintain organization in the cabinet. 

In a narrow cabinet, I used yet another expandable shelf organizer. This time, it's for the pots and pans, along with a Joseph Joseph Expanding Cookware Organizer, cutting boards, pot lids, and pans. This combo not only reduces clutter but also makes accessing them a breeze. 

To make the most of every inch, don't forget to utilize the cabinet door with a hook for hanging strainers or other utensils.

I tackled this small section beside the stove, creating a clear and functional area. By relocating the toaster to the island, I made room for the remaining items:

My client discovered a leak in the coffee maker and plans to replace it, so space is reserved for the new one.

Baskets are workhorses, but they deserve a better life than this. ๐Ÿ˜…๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Things were getting spicy in there, and not in a good way! ๐Ÿšซ The deep baskets became a recipe for disaster with a mishmash of spice packages and bottles, oils, vinegars, and sauces causing chaos. ๐ŸŒช๏ธ๐Ÿ™ˆ This setup is clearly not working well.

My client recognized the need for efficiency and clarity. Together, we embarked on a spice overhaul journey! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒฟ By identifying must-have spices and their ideal bottle sizes, we streamlined the inventory and bid adieu to what was expired. Those impulsive "stuck-at-home" Covid purchases had to go! Unopened, duplicate items that my client isn't planning on using will be donated to a food bank.๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿพ

The majority of the spice collection and essential mixes have been downsized to smaller bottles. With a clear bin for backstock spices and the addition of turntables, accessing the inventory is so much easier! ๐Ÿ”„๐ŸŽฏ
